Yamamoto Yamatanuki

Description

The Yamamoto Yamatanuki is a heavy, super-dense stick bait, a long-time favorite in Yamamoto's Japanese lineup that is credited with starting the heavy soft plastic trend in the U.S.

Yamamoto's heavily weighted formula lets it cast well and fall fast and horizontally with no added weight, and a molded hook pocket makes rigging easy and helps hook-ups.

How to fish it: Rig it weightless on an extra wide gap hook and flip it into cover, drag it across open water, or cast it to fish you spot on forward-facing sonar. It is a power finesse bait, so pair it with stout line and tackle.
