Description
The Native Watercraft Forge 12 is a fishing kayak built as an open platform, so you decide how it is powered and rigged.
Every Forge comes with stand-up stability, a dry ride on a raised floor, an open floor plan and hands-free foot-controlled rudder steering. Keep it simple and paddle it, add the X-Range pedal drive, or go electric with a Newport stern motorization kit. The smooth, rounded bow handles everything from rivers to bays. It also has PowerLink plates, a deck locker dry storage box, a transducer through-hull scupper, Captain's Bridge readiness, groove track around the entire boat, dual flush-mount rod holders, dual skid plates and a frame-mounted seat (swivel upgrade available).
With X-Range Pedal Drive: Adds Native's X-Range pedal drive with the new hand-controlled rudder steering system, thwart bar, drive box cover and hardware. The low-profile drive folds flat onto the deck, deploys in seconds with a one-handed twist-lock, has hands-free reverse and a built-in weed cutter, and uses a quick-release design for transport. The steering handle mounts left or right, high or low, and the cable housing adjusts on the water.
