Core Tackle Hover Rig

Description

The Core Tackle Hover Rig is designed for the finesse hover strolling technique, used with forward-facing sonar to target suspended fish.

Lead is poured along the hook shank and in front of the line tie, so the weight is spread through the soft plastic instead of sitting at the head. That gives a slow, natural horizontal fall that glides side to side or spirals. It rigs faster than a plain jig hook with a nail weight and causes less wear on soft plastics.

How to fish it: Rig a finesse soft plastic and hover stroll it to suspended fish seen on forward-facing sonar.
