Heddon Zara Spook

Description

The Heddon Zara Spook was first introduced in 1939 and is still essentially the same bait today.

It is known for its walk-the-dog action and has been responsible for countless tournament wins. It can draw fish from long distances and produces explosive strikes.

How to fish it: Cast it out, leave a bit of slack in the line, and use your wrist to work the rod tip in rhythm while you reel. Done right, the bait walks back and forth across the surface with a gentle wake.
